The monthly renewable energy charge billing component is a direct pass-through to the customer, with no added mark up by CUC, per kilowatt-hour of electricity consumption of the costs to CUC to purchase renewable energy produced and sold by third party generators (e.g. the 5MW Bodden Town solar farm, CORE/DER customers). Renewable energy costs are passed-though on a two-month lag basis and reviewed by the Regulator.
