The Licence & Regulatory Fees billing component is a direct pass-through, with no added mark up by CUC, to the customer per kilowatt-hour of electricity consumption in excess of 1,000 kWh in a billing period, of the costs to CUC for Licensing and Regulatory fees paid to the Utility Regulation and Competition Office of the Cayman Islands (OfReg).
Licence & Regulatory Fees are reviewed and approved by the Regulator as defined in CUC’s Transmission & Distribution Licence conditions, see Terms of Service.
