Here's what customers need to know about the CORE Programme tranche effective November 1, 2024
New Capacity Brackets and Rates for CORE
The new CORE Programme introduces revised capacity brackets and corresponding rates for those wishing to participate in the programme. Programme details are as follows:
There is a total of 4.4 megawatts (MW), or 4,400 kilowatts (kW) of available and unused capacity dedicated to the new CORE.
Eligibility and Exclusions
It’s important to note that the new CORE rates and capacity brackets apply only to the following:
- Generating subscribers for new CORE generation systems.
- Subscribers who had an established agreement which has expired.
Please be aware that applications under active extensions, or those with extension requests made before the public announcement of the November 2024 CORE Programme, are not eligible. Additionally, customers with existing systems who wish to upgrade their capacity are not eligible for this programme.
Application Process
Eligible customers will be required to complete the November 2024 application form, which includes the relevant terms and conditions for the new Programme. The application fee of CI$250 remains unchanged and must be paid before processing your application.
Effective Date and Pilot Duration
The CORE Programme officially commenced on November 1, 2024, as a pilot. The programme will be evaluated within 12 months of its launch to determine its effectiveness and identify any areas for potential improvement.
