Excess Energy Credit Rate:
The DER Excess Energy Credit, as described in the Demand Rates Terms of Service, is applied to exported net-energy by the DER customer during the billing period and calculated on a monthly basis as the lower of:
- The Excess Energy Rate ($0.00264/kWh) plus the monthly Fuel Cost, Govt. Fuel Duty, and Renewable Energy cost rates; or
- The comparable energy purchase rate in the most recent Renewable Energy Power Purchase Agreement (RE PPA)
Definitions:
- kWh - kilowatt-hours (energy consumption)
- kW - kilowatts (power demand)
Notes:
The above rate schedule does not include the following:
- Charges for fuel costs and government fuel duty
- Charges for renewable energy purchased from Power Purchase Agreements and CORE/DER Agreements
- License and regulatory fees
- Charges for optional services, such as Security Lighting (Dusk to Dawn Lighting). These charges are added to billing statements separately, as applicable
