Online Bank Payments:
If you have online banking with any of the local banks, you may pay your CUC bills via your bank's online portal. Caribbean Utilities Company, Ltd. will be a listed Payee on your banking portal. We request you include your CUC account number in the payment memo so our team may ensure the correct application of your funds. Please note that depending on the time of day and day of the week you submit your payment, your online bank payment may take up to 3 business days to be received by CUC and processed to your account.
Direct Debit:
By setting up a Direct Debit facility with CUC, you can ensure that your electricity bill will be paid automatically each month from your bank account. The debit occurs approximately three weeks from the date the bill is generated. Payments are automatically arranged between CUC and your bank. As a courtesy in recognition of automated and timely bill payments, CUC covers any transaction charges for the direct debit process. Participating banks include Butterfield Bank (Cayman) Ltd., Fidelity Bank (Cayman) Ltd., CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank (Cayman) Ltd., Cayman National Bank, Royal Bank of Canada and Scotiabank.
Please note CUC has no visibility of customers' bank accounts and issues all Direct Debit participants to be charged in full for their electricity bills. If your bank account does not have sufficient funds on the direct debit processing day, the transaction may fail. Each bank has their own processes regarding how this is addressed and whether they will contact you regarding the failed transaction. When CUC is notified of insufficient funds by the bank, we make every effort to contact you, our customer. The timing for CUC attempting to notify you of a failed direct debit payment is fully dependent upon when we receive notice from the bank. Where a direct debit transaction is decline due to insufficient funds, a fee of $30 will be applied to your account.

Automatic, recurring payments can also be setup with a debit or credit card through My CUC (PowerPay).
In Person Bank Payments:
Customer may pay their CUC bills directly at the banking counter at local banks. In order to make payment via this method, customers must present their current bill. This type of transaction is processed in 3 to 5 days. Banking fees may apply; please contact your local bank to determine their fee structure.
International Wire Transfers:
Wire transfers are accepted for certain circumstances. Wire transfer information may be requested from our customer service team at service@cuc.ky. Wire transfer fees may apply.
