Power Outages

When Power Outages Happen:

Power outages occur from time to time due to planned work to upgrade the Transmission and Distribution infrastructure, or unforeseen circumstances such as motor vehicle accidents, vegetation or animal contact, or severe weather events.

All scheduled outage are posted on our website here.

When a power outage is scheduled, a notification is sent to the contact details on file for the address affected. Please ensure your contact information is up to date, the primary contact details on your account will be visible at the top right hand corner of your bill: Update Contact Information and Sign up for E-billing.

How to Check the Status of an Outage:

CUC has a Power Outage Map which is updated to display outages island wide, the map is updated with estimated restoration time by area as that information becomes available. 

How to Report an Outage:

If you do not see your outage area reflected on the Outage Map or the Scheduled Outage Listing, you may report the outage to our team here. Outages can also be reported by calling 945-1CUC (1282) or 949-5200 Option 1.
